The reclining seat for the passenger vehicle is secured on the floor by a special plinth holding a series of servo motors which drive the different adjusting controls. The attitude of the seat can be adjusted as can the height and angle of the headrest. No manual effort is required and the electric, pneumatic or hydraulic servos operate self locking linkages to provide a firm support.
