The furniture hinge has two relatively swivelling hinge parts which are connected with hinge pin. The compact hinge has good appearance and an arrangement to limit swivelling angle. The hinge pin (54) has a longitudinal rib (56). The holes (22) accommodating this pin have slots for these ribs and the holes are made into both hinge parts (2, 4). The angle covered by these slots is greater than the width of a rib and this angle can be greater in one hinge than in the other one. These slots limit the hinge swivel angle.
