The Parent Patent described a filter for liqs. in which the cylinder walls and/or the bottom opposite to the open end consists of a thin metallic filter material with a permeability of 40-200 mesh. A hollow cylinder with an impermeable wall is introduced inside this cylinder to a variable depth, with a conicity at the introductory end. This is a simple and easy way of controlling the available filter areas. The amount of filter area can be adjusted to the amount of coffee or tea and a bypass of water can be prevented. |
