<p>The ventilation device which may be fitted around the inside of a window frame, allows the inlet and outlet air flows to travel in counterflow through the interior giving both a heat and humidity interchange. The two channels for the two flows are separated by a sheet (1) across the middle, leaving a small gap for condensation. This dividing sheet forms two chambers inside a perforated sheet (2) enclosed by a felt material (3) with sealing foil which absorbs the moisture. These layers are enclosed in a sound deadening layer (4) enclosed by an outer casing (5). The whole is compact and unobtrusive and can form a frame around the window.</p> |
