Rotary plough with pivoting plough frame - uses bolt track and pocket arrangement to lock support wheel

The rotary plough has a plough frame which can pivot between two operating positions and is supported on the ground by a support wheel which is supported on the plough frame so that it can pivot about a horizontal axis and can be locked in both support positions. A bolt track (17), which encloses the pivot shaft (10) of the support (2) along an arc, is supported on the plough frame for locking purposes. A bolt pocket (13) can move along the bolt track when the support wheel pivots. It contains a ball (16) which shuts off the opening in the two plough operating positions but moves into an unlocking position under gravity when the frame pivots.
