The overhead traction net for fairground dodgem vehicles or a similar non track system, is made from an aluminium magnesium alloy in a hexagonal mesh and is contacted by a roller at the end of a pickup pole. The mesh does not suffer from sparks and hot metal swarf falling onto the clothes of the users and provides a long non corrosive life.
