<p>Control arrangement at a mould e.g. an injection-mould that has been charged under pressure and is kept locked by an exterior locking force, serves to maintain the vol. of injected moulding cpd. constant. There is a measuring installation mounted at a machine part connected with the mould, that responds to the movement of the mould under the action of the charging pressure. A regulator is connected to the exit of the measuring installation, acting upon an element that affects supply of moulding cpd. The regulator measures only that difference between the charging force acting against the locking force by virtue of the pressure of the moulding cpd. and the locking force, insofar as that difference exceeds the locking force. When this difference reaches a positive threshold value than a signal is released. Real maintaining of charge vol. is obtd. by indirect measurement of mould-breathing or removal of stress from both half-moulds at the parting plane.</p> |
