PURPOSE:To safely operate a gas turbine, by preventing beforehand contact between moving vanes and a shroud after starting the gas turbine by heating a casing of the gas turbine when starting the gas tubine. CONSTITUTION:If gas A at a high temperature is introduced when starting, moving vanes 3A, 3B are rapidly heated and thermally expand while the vanes extend owing to centrifugal force by revolution. However, a shroud 5 is not heated as much as the moving vanes, and a void delta between the moving vace 3A and the shroud 5 quickly reduces when starting. In this case, there is the danger that the moving vane 3A and the shroud 5 might contact if the voil delta was formed mush too small in consideration of the efficiency of a gas turbine. In this device, a casing 1 is heated by means of heating means, such as, an electric resistor 9, etc. when starting, and the shroud 5 is also heated with the casing 1 and thermally displaced, thus preventing the sudden reduction of the void delta. |
