<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the sliding resistance of a disk brake caliper and to prevent rusted fixture of the caliper in a disk brake having a movable caliper with respect to a clamping member of a vehicle by coupling the clamping member with the caliper by rolling means. CONSTITUTION:A pair of both side standing torque bearings 11, 12 are formed at a clamping member 10 secured to a vehicle with recess grooves 13, 14 formed to open at both ends axially on the facing inner surfaces thereof and engaged with a pair of roller assemblies 15, 16 therein. Both assemblies 15, 16 consist of a supporting frame 19, two rollers 20, 21, and two supporting pins 22, 23 together with leaf springs 25, 26 formed at the side wall 24. Recess grooves 22, 24 are formed corresponding to the recess grooves 13, 14, respectively at both sides of the movable caliper 31. Thus, the caliper 31 can slide by the rolling friction between the rollers 20, 21 and the respective side walls of the recess grooves 33, 34 so as to eliminate troubles such as sliding resistance, and rusted fixture, etc.</p> |
