A metal can having a body with a welded side seam, characterised in that the seam (2) is crevice-free on at least the inner or outer surface of the can body, the edge of the can body at one end thereof is curled (6) with said surface in which the seam is crevice-free being on the outside of the curl, and that said end of the can body is closed by a diaphragm (7) adhesively secured round said curled edge (6). |
