A pseudo-fur showing a similar appearance and feeling to a fur was manufd. by processing synthetic pile fabric. W-type pile fabric having a constant inter-pile distance and length was used as woven- fabric and the pile was implanted with a direction. The fabric was treated with permanent processing agent before or after implantation, followed by post-treatment such as heating, pressing and tentering to give a pseude- fur.
