PURPOSE:To manufacture a resin-molded coil having excellent appearance and high quality, by impregnating or casting a coil with a resin, curing the resin surface with UV-irradiation while rotating the coil, and finally curing the whole resin by heating, thereby preventing the leak of the resin. CONSTITUTION:A coil is impregnated or cost with a resin containing a UV-curable component, and the surface of the resin is cured by irradiating with UV-radiation while rotating the coil, to form a cured skin layer to the surface of the resin. Subsequently, the resin is cured as a whole by heating. A molded coil with high resin content, e.g. a large, high voltage, stationary electrical equipment such as a coil for dry transformer, instrumentation transformer, etc. can be manufactured by this process without leak of the resin. EFFECT:A large-sized resin-molded coil having high quality and appearance, can be easily manufactured without using a mold. |
