PURPOSE:To enable the picture image display of the correct movement state within a body to be detected by scanning a ultrasonic wave beam in two directions having a fine deviated angle, and determining a vector speed by the doppler signal obtained from within the body to be detected. CONSTITUTION:In a scanning control circuit 12, an ultrasonic wave beam is radiated plural times in the vertical direction with a probe 16 controlled, the scanning of one scanning line is made, then the ultrasonic wave beam is deflectedly radiated in the direction having a fine deviated angle to the scanning line, and the deflection scanning of one scanning line having the fine deviated angle is made. In a transceiver 14, the received signals from two directions having the fine deviated angle at the same part are converted into doppler signals respectively, and supplied to a speed computing element 30 via A/D converters 28a and 28b. In the element 30, a speed is operated, and the speed signals in two directions at the same part are outputted. In compliance with this, an arithmetic processing is made with a vector speed computing element 38, a vector speed signal is supplied to a display controller 40, and thereby a picture image display processing is made. |
