Continuously extruded thermoplastic tube was intermittently sealed by passing 2 rollers with finlike embossings and blown in an expansion control tube to give heat- shrinkable tubes. A heat-shrinkable polyethylene and PVC tubes with partial longitudinal seals, useful for fitting lead wires to light bulb were prepd. 2 lead wires passed through 2 holes formed by the seal and the unsealed portion was fitted to the bulb.
