PURPOSE:To remove impurities from an aqueous solution of non-electrolytic polymer, and to obtain a highly pure solution thereof, by a simple means and device, by moving a perforated container containing an ion exchange resin in the crude aqueous solution of the polymer. CONSTITUTION:A tank 11 is charged with a highly viscous aqueous solution of a non-electrolytic polymer 6 containing impurities. Containers 12 made of anti-corrosive perforated walls 14 having perforations small enough to inhibit the falling-off of the ion exchange resin 7, 8 filled in the container 12, are fixed to an axis 13. Two of the four containers are filled with a cation exchange resin 7, and the other two are filled with an anion exchange resin 8. The impurities in the solution 6 can be removed by rotating the containers 12 around the axis 13. |
