PURPOSE: To prepare an imbedded silicone antiforming composition by encapsulating an inner core of an organopolysiloxane antiforming composition with an outer shell of metable sugar and imbedding the inner core in the outer shell capsule. CONSTITUTION: Anhydrousα-d-glucose is heated and melted to produce a melted sugar product, and the organopolysiloxane antiforming composition is added to the melted sugar product, and while the system is melted and maintained in an anhydrous state, the antiforming composition is dispersed into the melted sugar product. Next, the dispersion product is cooled to crystallize the composition and the crystallized product is allowed to solidify by cooling, then the antiforming composition is encapsulated in the solidified sugar. The solidified composition is treated to make it into smaller sizes, thus the organopolysiloxane antiforming composition is obtained. |
