The machine is used for electrostatically coating objects with powder and is a tunnel (1) of rectangular cross section, long sides vertical. The items are transported along a track at the top and the powder is projected through bank of nozzles (3) in the vertical sides, one bank (3a) is at one end and the other bank (3b) at the other end, on the opposite side. Excess powder falls to the bottom, collecting in gutters and continuously removed by a conveyor belt. Airborne powder is removed by suction nozzles (4a, 4b) positioned centrally in the tunnel.
