The locating piece for inclusion on printed circuit board (PCB) connectors prevents the mating of boards which due to high supply voltages etc. could be irreparably damaged. Correct location is ensured by including on the PCB (17) a group of comb teeth (19) having a triangular end section. These are forced into a fixed socket which has sprung 'S' form (32) profiled partitions spaced away from a surrounding box wall (38) having a chamfered edge matching that (24) of the male electode. A PCB not having the male part of the fitting will foul the socket top surface (32a) preventing further penetration.
