PURPOSE:To iessen a circuit rental fee with the cost of a unit reduced by attaining the transmission of weather infomation between a transmitter and receiver by using not a modem but a subscriber's telephone circuit. CONSTITUTION:This unit is formed of transimtter 1 equipped with weather-information setting part 11 which sets weather information by the setting method of a switch and transmitting-signal controller 12 which converts weather information into a tone signal in order to send the information through a telephone circuit, network controllers 2 and 3 which function to attain the switching to a network protective data communication line and the holding of a loop through the connected control of a subscriber's telephone switching network as well as a general telephone set, receiver 6 which receivers and converts a tone signal from transmitter 1 into the original weather information and then supplies the conversion signal to weather sign display board 7, and weather sign display board 7 which displays the weather information visually. |
