发明名称 COMMUTATOR FAULT DETECTOR FOR ROTATING COMMUTATORS
摘要 PURPOSE:To automatically detect which arm commutator is faulty in the stator end by arranging a light emitting diode to detect both ends voltage of a fuse when it is blown so that the diode cannot be located on the same circumference centering an axis of rotation. CONSTITUTION:The commutation ring 15 is fixed to the axis of rotation 14 which is directly coupled to the generator 21 and the exciter 22. The light emitting unit 12 and the commutator 7 are screwed into the DC ring 17 through the insulation ring 16 and the DC ring 17 which are inside the commutation ring 15 and electromechanically connected. The respective three commutators 7 and light emitting units 12 are arranged in parallel per phase and the parallel capacitor 9 is inserted into both sides against the commutator 7. The light emitting diode 11 of each phase is not located on the same circumference. That is, each diode is located at a distance of (X1 + alpha) for phase U, (X2 + alpha) for phase V, and (X3 + alpha) for phase W from the center of the axis of rotation 14, respectively. The light receiving units 13-1 and 13-2 of the light emitting diode 11 are fixed to the commutation cover 18 to cover the commutation ring 15 and connected to the commutator fault display panel by the cable 19.
