A tire uniformity modifying device was manufd in wich the pressure of a grinder against the tire is changed by the first order components of the wave form of the radial force variation of a tire, and the tire is modified by decreasing the components. The device measures and memorizes the RVF of each point of the outer periphery of the rotating tire, and detects the first order components of the variation. The grinder grinds the tire with the corresponding pressure to the magnitude of the components.
