<p>The ceiling cap assembly has a cap (20) with a small hole at one end through which the cable leaves and an internal thread at its wide end where the cable enters the cap. The cap screws onto a collar fixed to the ceiling and provided with an external thread to mate with the cap's internal thread. The collar holds the cap to the ceiling. Alternatively, the thread connection between cap and collar may be replaced by a bayonet connection or a serrated snap-action connection. The advantage lies in simple fixing.</p> |
