The sphere is urged towards the free end of arm (3), and hence towards arm or surface (2) since arm (3) is inclined towards that surface, by spring action or by gravity. In one embodiment the arm (3) is of hexagonal section and sphere has a complementary through-hole. Alternatively the arm and hole could be splined. Spherical sectioned arms and holes may be used when it is useful for sphere to be rotatable. In another embodiment several clamps are used to suspend respective sheets from curtain rail type hooks mounted on a hanger.
