Solar heat collector - with space between twin hemispherical or semi-cylindrical shells evacuated

Solar heat collector has a hemispherical or semicylindrical shape. The outer shell of the collector consists of two transparent layes an the space between them is evacuated. A heat carrier fluid is passed through the gap between this outer shell and an inner absorber shell which also consists of two layers, with the space between them evacuated. This results in a highly efficient lightweight design because the shells can be made of plastic material.
