<p>These mixtures of polymers free from halogen, on the basis of copolymers of acrylic olefins and esters, rubber of ethylen-acrylates, rubber of acrylates or the mixtures thereof or the mixtures with other polymers contain, out of 100 parts of mixture, 90 to 200 parts, particularly 120 to 180 parts, of aluminium oxide hydrate; the latter is prepared by precipitation and presents particles of 6(Alpha)n at the most, a specific surface over 6m2/g and contains - related to the quantity of aluminium oxide - more than 0.25% of sodium oxide, included at least 0.05% of soluble sodium oxide. Such mixtures of polymers have characteristics of non-inflammability, resist to the action of oils and solvents, as well as to sea water, while showing good mechanical characteristics. They can be used for making up insulating materials, for filling or sheathing electrical cables or for the preparation of coverings of floors or walls, as well as for the preparation of most diverse technical articles. </p> |
