The improved lorry cab has the driving control section (4) separately sprung with elastic dampers on the chassis, and an intermediate section (6) between the driving section and the load (2). The intermediate section contains sleeping accommodation etc. The intermediate section can also act as an impact absorbing section to protect the driving section. Both sections can be replaced separately and are mounted on independent suspension elements on the chassis.
