<p>The construction of a washing line structure for mounting to the ceiling of the wash room in one- or two-family houses, occupies a space of 2500 + 1000mm, supporting 37m of clothes line. An operating rod allows the height to be adjusted so that the distance from the ceiling to the lower edge of the assembly is reduced from 400mm to 200mm. The design allows the room space to be fully utilised for recreation, without the clothes line structure inhibiting movement. The side frames of the assembly are joined by a connecting rod, and one frame has an eyelet. The operating rod is inserted in the eyelet to swing the side frames to one side, pivoting from the ceiling. This allows the assembly to be locked in the upper position, and hang in the lower position. The operating rod is suspended from the mounting, when not in use, so that it does not disturb the use of the room space but is available when needed.</p> |
