Pivot bearing for sun visor - has separate moulded shell clipped onto edge of visor insert and secured by plastics plugs

The padded sun visor has a padded core (39) covered with a moulded recess into which the mounting stalk is pressed. The bearing is provided by a separate houlding (16) which is clipped into the visor and secured by plastics plugs (28). The fitting allows a more rigid plastics to be used for the bearing. No metal parts are used and a secure angular setting is assured.
