<p>The centreboard for the dinghy is mounted on a special fitting which allows it to tilt about a longitudinal axis (24). The board can also be displaced laterally on special cable drives. The board is operated by rigid handles (34) extending out of the casing and enables the crew to trim the craft under any sailing conditions. The craft can sail closer to the wind, and the board can also be swung flat under the bottom in shallow water.</p> |
