Kitchen inbuilt vapour extractor unit - has two extractor hoods with waste duct leading to one waste outlet

The vapour extraction unit includes two extraction hoods. One (2) is for the hob and the other(3) for the oven. The second hood(3) is attached to an extension (13) of the branch piece(12) connected between the connection pipe (2a) which leads from the first hood to a horizontal extraction duct and the waste air duct itself. The branch piece has an inclined deflector plate(6c). At least the rer section(27) in the waste flow direction is designed as a flap(16) which tilts about an axis(17a) running across the wate flow direction. This flap can be moved by gravity and/or the action of waste air out of operation of the first hood into a lower end position to seal the connecting pipe(2a) of the first hood so that only one waste air vent need be provided in the kitchen wall.
