PURPOSE:To obtain an information processing carrier by which an identification code can be freely set without complicated manual operation and which can be identified even at a distance with ensured identification safety by adding a series of data received from an external terminal device which is worn on clothes or data modified with a specified algorithm based on the former. CONSTITUTION:The phototransistor 3 of an information processing carrier 1 receives an optical signal from an external terminal device only due to the wearing of the information processing carrier 1 on clothes with a safety clip and the proceeding to a desired place by a bearer. If a microcomputer 5 determines the optical signal as a regularly received data, the information processing carrier 1 adds part of data received from the outside or data modified using a specified algorithm based on the former. For instance, codes themselves for the identification of external terminal devices from these devices are added to the transmitted data, and this combined data is transmitted from a light emitting diode 4. The signal transmitted from the light emitting diode 4 is received by the external terminal device. Next, the information processing carrier 1 is identified as an established one to allow its bearer to approach a desired place.
