PURPOSE:To obtain the picture information effective to the diagnosis even for the area where the X-ray transmittance differs greatly by recording temporarily the X- ray picture information of the subject onto the intermediate medium and then reproducing the picture through a process. CONSTITUTION:The X-ray picture is recorded on the intermediate medium so that gamma is secured between 0.3-1.5 where gamma is the variation rate of the picture density to the minute change of the exposure amount. Intermediate medium 31 is illuminated by light source 32, photographed through TV cemera 33 and then converted into the electric signal according to the picture density of medium 31. This electric signal is then sent to characteristics conversion amplifier 34 to be emphasized for those which correspond to the specified density zones and then undergo the density conversion to be supplied to CRT35. Thus, the reproduced image is formed. The reproduced image is displayed on CRT35 after the screen processing to secure an easy-to-see density zone, and the diagnosis is carried out by observing the reproduced image. For observation of the areas included in other density zones, amplifier 34 is adjusted. The reproduced image of CRT35 is recorded onto the sensitive material through camera 36. |
