<p>PURPOSE:To display sufficiently the performance of an in-use apparatus without modifying its software, by changing data transfer speeds. CONSTITUTION:Control part 1 equipped in the same enclosure as CPU1 is switched to clock CL1 (the highest speed) at the point in time of the DC1 (with device controller 1 and paper-tape reader both ON) code transmission completion, to CL2 (medium speed) at the time of the completion of the transmission of a DC3 (with the paper-tape reader ON) code, to CL3 (low speed) at the time of the transmission completion of a DC2 (with a paper-tape perforator ON) code, and to CL2 at the time of the transmission completion of a DC4 (with the paper-tape perforator OFF). In this way, control part 1 functions to change over three kinds of clocks proportional to transfer speeds. Next, control part 2 at the printer side has a circuit whose transfer clock is switched at the time of reception completion of a control code from control part 2.</p> |
