<p>PURPOSE:To make a timpano sound of long duration and high timbre, by combining a plurality of members to manufacture a kettle. CONSTITUTION:The top A of a shallow-bowl-shaped member 1 consists of four flat plates split toward the center of the member 1. The flat plates 2 are as thick as the upper end of the bottom B of the member 1 and have a prescribed curve from the upper edge 21 of the top toward the lower edge 22 of the bottom. The member 1 is combined with a side member 2' made from a flat plate. All the butted edges are welded to each other, thereby forming the kettle.</p> |
