POLYVINYLIDENE FLUORIDE OR VINYLIDENE FLUORIDE COPOLYMER COMPOSITIONS The invention is a composition of polyvinylidene fluoride (or a vinylidene fluoride copolymer) and a certain copolymer material, the copolymer material being present in the composition in an amount of 1-50% by weight. The copolymer material is a copolymer of vinyl fluoride and at least one alkyl acrylate or alkyl methacrylate (the alkyl groups of which contain 1 to 4 carbon atoms). The composition retains good light-transmitting properties even when used in molding or shaping, which is not true of polyvinylidene fluoride (or vinylidene fluoride copolymer) alone, but on the other hand, the advantageous physical properties of polyvinylidene fluoride are not significantly affected by the compounding with the copolymer material.
