PURPOSE:To provide a mobile mechanism, in which center of the steering shaft and positions where wheels are held in contact with the ground are spaced such that vectors extended from the wheel contact positions in the advancing direction of the vehicle may not intersect, whereby it is enabled to steer the vehicle easily to any desired direction. CONSTITUTION:Axle 2 is extended laterally from vertical steering shaft 1 which is supported on mobile body 4 in freely rotatable manner, and the axle 2 carries at its top a wheel 3 which is driven by a suitable driving source and is held in contact with the ground at a position displaced a certain distance from the steering shaft 1. With such an arrangement, it is enabled to steer the wheels of mobile body 4 with almost no resistance, regardless whether it is at rest or in motion, and thus to drive the mobile body 4 correctly along a required course. |
