PURPOSE:To positively prevent the false operation of an igniter, by obviating overlapping between an output wave-form of a signal coil for operating a thyristor controlling the discharge of a condenser and an output wave of a generating coil for ignition for charging the condenser. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of magnets 32 are fixed to a rotor 30 at regular intervals in the circumferential direction. Iron plates 34 are pasted to the inner flanks of each magnet 32. A generating coil 12 for ignition, a signal coil 18 and an ignition charge coil 38 are mounted to a base 36 installed to the fixing side, such as, a crank- case, etc. The outer end portions of each core of the generating coil 12 for ignition and the signal coil 18 are disposed at sufficient intervals in the circumferential direction, and located so that the outer end portions not simultaneously face to the magnets 32 at the ignition locations of each magnet 32. Thus, the output wave- forms of the generating coil 12 for ignition and the signal coil 18 do not overlap. |
