摘要 |
Refractory compsn. for forming a sliding gate at the bottom of a tundish is formed from a starting batch comprising about 10-30pts. wt. of an alumina-magnesia spinel, consisting of about 40-75 wt.% Al2O3 and about 25-60 wt.% MgO ; about 70-90 pts. wt. of magnesia material contg. at least about 90 wt.% MgO ; and about 1-10 pts. wt. of alumina material with average particle size of less than about 10 micron. The refractory produced consists of about 10-25 wt.% Al2O3 and 75-90 wt.% MgO. The compsn. has an improved peeling resistance and high corrosion resistance.
