PURPOSE:To provide a drier of highly efficient drying performance which can be used as a dehumidifier or, when desired, as a drier by taking advantage of the feature of a dehumidifier or a mattress drier. CONSTITUTION:With power switch of a dehumidifier 1 made, a compressor 9 and a blower 14 operate so that room air is sucked in via a suction port 3 and that the moisture is condensed when the air passes through an evaporator 11 and the air is heated while passing through a condenser 12 before being discharged into the room via a discharge port 4. For drying clothes or the like, a drier 20 is connected with the dehumidifier 1. The dry air dehumidified by the dehumidifier 1 is sucked into the drier 20 via a suction port 28, heated by an electric heater 26, and discharged via a discharge port 33. When the humidity of the room air or the ambient temperature is below a set point, the motor revolution rate of a blower 25 is reduced so as to prevent the reduction in drying performance at low temperature. |
