The precast block is used to build garden walls, and has a symmetrical trapezoidal plan profile. A well(7) of a lesser and inverted trapezoidal shape in plan, is incorporated in a central position in the top face, thus leaving lateral triangular zones(8) forming seats for succeeding blocks. The blocks in succeeding courses are staggered longitudinally by half their length, thus leaving facade cavities incorporating the wells. The inclined edges(6) of the block may be angled at 45 deg., a system of studs(9) and sockets(10) being used to connect blocks in succeeding courses. The wells may have drain-holes and may house purposed made pots.
|
