PURPOSE:To maintain a smooth fluidized bed and to improve treatment effeciency by providing at the bottom a gas diffuser means and an unburnt residue discharge port and providing a heavy matter transfer means for transfering heavy matter collecting in the bottom of the bed toward the discharge port. CONSTITUTION:A fluidized bed 2 utilizes inert particles such as sand as a fluidizing heating medium. In the bottom of the bed 2 is provided a gas diffuser means 1 which comprises a fixed gas diffuser plate 1C at the end and L-shaped gas diffuser plates 1A-1A''' and 1B-1B''' connected respectively with oil hydraulic cylinders 3 and 4 for alternate reciprocal movement. The end of the means 1 is connected to an unburnt residue discharge port 8. Air 7 is fed into a gas chamber 5 under the means 1 through a gas feed pipe 6, and jetted through the holes formed in the diffuser plates and through the gaps between the plates, to fluidize the medium. Heavy matter 19 collecting in the bottom of the bed 2 is moved stepwise reghtward by the reciprocal movement of the cylinders 3 and 4, and discharged via the discharge port 8. |
