As shown an insole 1 which is injection moulded from a charge of mixed polyamides comprises a first portion 2 of constant thickness in a longitudinal direction, extending from the heel to a toe portion 3 which tapers linearly towards the toe. The insole preferably has a constant thickness across any transverse section and may be incorporated into an article of footwear having a leather upper of which the edge is stitched or adhered between the insole and an outer sole.</p> |
