A linked cord and pulley system is described for simultaneous adjustment of the ventilation slats in the side of a cattle truck or other livestock wagon. Pull cords made of nylon or of steel cable, opt. connected to a self-winding reel are used controlled by a ratchet. Quicker and safer adjustment than direct manual adjustment of individual flaps is obtd. at relatively high levels.
