The light pipe comprises a flexible, non-reflecting outer tube (1), which is sealed at both ends respectively by a stopper (4, 7) made from transparent material. Arranged in the lumen of the outer tube (1) are a plurality of capillary tubes (2a, 2b, 2c) which are filled with a light-conducting liquid. Such light pipes can be very strongly bent and can therefore be used, in particular, for endoscopy and in medical technology. <IMAGE>
