PURPOSE:To prevent the degradation in recording quality by molding the coupling portion of the thermal head with an electric insulation type and heat conductive molding material. CONSTITUTION:After electric insulation layers 26, 27 are provided on the thin film conductors 23, 25 formed on a glass rod 21 and printed board 24, the coupling portion of the head is sandwiched and fixed by a metal plate 28 and a heat conductive adhesive agent is filled between the electric insulation layers 26, 27 and metal plate 28. Then, the excess heat flow flowing through the thin film conductors 23, 25 is radiated through the metal plate 28 without being trapped and the heat flow flowing in the glass rod 21 also flows into the thin film conductor 22 contacting thereto, whereby the temperature rise of the glass rod 21 is prevented. Hence, the recording of good image quality free from the trailing and uneven densities that can be seen at the continuous recording may be obtained. |
