The plate has elongate tongues (6) which are worked from the plane (5) of the plate, are of round or elongate cross-section and have a concave inner side (9). In each case two tongues are arranged in parallel beside each other, neighbouring pairs being offset by 90 DEG C. The plate is used for producing joint connections for timber girders. <IMAGE>
