PURPOSE:To attain inhibition of vibrations by moving the point of application of the load of a mass member on a spring member to change its characteristic-frequency. CONSTITUTION:Nuts 7 for clamp metals 6 are first loosened to release a mass member 1 and a plate spring 2 from the restriction, and then a fixing plate 11 is removed. Further, the mass member 1 is lifted up by means of a jack which is interposed between a metal member 12 and a support bed. Then, a turnbuckle 8 is adjusted to move the position of the clamp metals 6 whereby spacers 9 are displaced to change the point of application of the load. The jack is thereafter removed and the fixing plates 11 are mounted again, and then the nuts 7 are tightened. Thus, such a change of the point of application of the load leads to a change of the characteristic-frequency which thus provides a vibration inhibiting effect. |
