PURPOSE:To miniaturize a multicolor offset press and to perform multicolor printing generating no printing shift by providing (n) ink transfer parts to the outer periphery of a blanket cylinder whose diameter is set to n-times that of an impression cylinder and applying the lap-printing of the ink images transferred to the ink transfer parts from a plate cylinder to the sheet gripped by the impression cylinder. CONSTITUTION:The ink image of the printing plate mounted on a plate cylinder 6 is transferred to each of the ink transfer parts 5 on the outer periphery of the blanket cylinder 4 corresponding to said printing plate. Subsequently, an impression cylinder 3 supporting a sheet S is rotated by the number of the ink transfer parts 5 of the blanket cylinder 4 per one revolution of the blanket cylinder 4, that is, n-times per one revolution of the blanket cylinder 4 to apply the lap-printing of the ink images of the respective ink transfer parts 5 to the sheet S gripped by the impression cylinder. |
