<p>The parallel bars can be taken to pieces and consist of a stand (1) and four vertical supports (2) with an adjustable support (6) at the top of which the bars (7, 8) are fixed. The vertical supports are each positioned by a sleeve with a centring stud, both fixed to the stand. The supports are held in the sleeve by a pair of rods which pass through holes in the support and the sleeve. The separation of the bars is adjusted by an L-shaped tube (10) sliding in a sleeve (9) at the top of the adjustable support and both adjustable tubes are locked by clamps (11).</p> |
