PURPOSE:To cool an object, efficiently, with controlled cooling rate, by spraying the object with charged particles from a spraying nozzle which is applied with high electric potential relative to the object. CONSTITUTION:An object 1 to be cooled is grounded at a fixed position. A high electric potential is applied to the corona electrode 6 of a dual-path nozzle by a high potential generator 9 controlled by an electric regulator 8. Air is sent to the nozzle 2 from the blower 10 which is controlled by a regulator 11, and water in the tank 4 is sucked to the nozzle through a suction pipe 5 and sprayed. The mist of water is charged by the corona generated by the intense electric field between the electrode 6 and the object 1, and desosited to the whole surface of the object to cool the object uniformly. |
